My passion is solving problems, and my goal is to work effectively with you to find the best solution for your needs. During my 20+ years at an AmLaw 100 firm, I earned consistent praise for being responsive, efficient, and practical. I started my own firm to help companies from start-ups to Fortune 500s navigate disputes and get ahead of typical consumer claims. And, I leverage my experience and solution-minded approach to help parents navigate special education law.

My experience includes handling consumer complaints, ADA claims, CIPA claims (including tap and trace claims), regulatory investigations, National Advertising Division matters, and litigation from small disputes to high-stakes litigation, including class action defense. I have represented both early start-ups and Fortune 500 companies, including large tech companies and well-known retailers.
I have years of experience helping companies who operate places of public accommodation navigate compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) with a particular focus on website defense and digital accessibility. I have handled not only countless website accessibility matters, but impact litigation involving technologies such as self-service kiosks or virtual reality. I have also represented companies facing physical access claims, whether it be the single restaurant or a complex parking lot network. And I have represented companies in response to demand letters, lawsuits, state administrative proceedings, and DOJ investigations.
I regularly advise and represent companies in advertising and general consumer protection matters, including consumer claims, competitor disputes, National Advertising Division disputes, civil investigative demands by state agencies, and compliance with FTC rules and guidance.
I also defend privacy claims under the California Invastion of Privacy Act (CIPA) and other privacy and wiretap laws, including claims regarding pen register, tap and trace, chat boxes, and search terms.
I am a general commercial litigator, and have handled everything from contract disputes to trade secret claims to consumer finance matters.
My goal is to understand your business and to help you navigate the most effective solution for you.

I leverage my litigation and regulatory experience to help you navigate special education in our public schools. As a parent who has fought for, developed, and helped manage multiple IEPs within the Seattle Public School District, I bring the unique perspective of someone who has been there. I can help with special education eligibility, development and review of an IEP, attend an IEP meeting, handle due process complaints, and more.
I currently limit my special education practice to Washington State.
